I have read a lot of questions about birthday parties, most say to have it at home or in the back yard. That would be wonderful except for the fact that it's in December and we live in Michigan. Snow and Cold. We only invite family and maybe a few close friends.. it's about 30 ppl. We've done Chuck E. Cheese's for the first 2, because of space. I want something different but I can't see spending a crazy amount. Please help, I've been searching for months. I need an indoor place to have fun.

  2. I would have two rooms in your house for the party, one for adults and one for kids (assuming there will be kids). The adult one for conversation, hors d'oeuvres, everything like that. In the kids one, lay down a big plastic mat, ice some cupcakes and let the kids go crazy with the sprinkles. I did this with my two and half year old cousin and she had a blast. It makes for great pictures too! Just have a lot of wet wipes on hand and make sure kids come dressed for a mess. You can still do this without the other kids, she'll still have fun! If you don't want to have it at your house then look here:

  3. We went to a little girls birthday party in Feb. She had it at a Gymnastics place. My children do not belong to gymnastics and are boys so I had never even thought of that! My son's had a BLAST. They got to try out all the equiptment...jump on tampolines...in bouncers...play with a parachute...etc. They had cake and then gifts. It wore my sons out and they slept all the way home. It was great for all ages and genders. Best Wishes!

  4. Just a family gathering at home with cake and laughs is what I would do. I refuse to have a birthday party at one of those other places. Do you realize that kids don't need a big birthday party every year? On their birthday let them pick their cake and what they want for their birthday meal. After dinner have presents, sing, cake and ice cream - if there are g-parents close by they can come over in the evening to have cake with the family. They will appreciate these more intimate and special parties more than a crazed kid fest at chuck e cheese.

  5. IF YOU HAVE A LITTLE GYM NEAR BY THAT IS A GREAT IDEA.  OR IF YOU DON'T WANT TO HAVE A BIG BASH.  HAVE HER INVITE 2 OR 3 CLOSE FRIENDS AND IF YOU HAVE LIBBY LOU'S AROUND IT IS A GREAT PLACE TO TAKE LITTLE GIRLS.   MY DAUGHTER HAS BEEN 3 TIMES AND LOVES IT.  AND ANOTHER GREAT IDEA IS A BOWLING ALLY.  AND IT IS PRETTY REASONABLE.

  6. How about a bounce-u place?? A bunch of bouncy equipment for kids and a nice space for adults to just talk!!! There is one in Brighton and Troy here is the website-http://www.bounceu.com/cities/brighton.m...
