What do I do if I lost my garage door opener?

We live in an apartment complex and lost our garage door opener. My husband is really good with electronics and wiring, etc. Is there any way we can buy our own garage door opener and reset the code or re-program it somehow so we can get in our garage? We don't keep any cars in there, just our storage stuff.

They sell garage door openers in Home Depot and Lowe's.

Sounds like you do not want your association to know about the loss. It is easy to fix if your assoc. has a decent security system.  If not and your neighbors are ripped off  They might sue you and win.

Buy a new one at Home Depot and follow the directions for programing.
