  1. Their are several things you can do. First try soaking the snake and warm water. Secondly you can raise the humidity and provide a rough surface to rub the dead skin off. Or lastly provide a plastic hide box with wet paper towels. If the snake still doesn't shed you can try getting a damp wash cloth and rub the snake gently with it.

  2. If your snake is having a bad shed take a plastic box, either a plastic shoe box or plastic sweater box, if it's a larger snake get a bigger tub but get one that is short instead of tall…something that would go under your bed…and drill several small holes along the sides at the top.  Put about an inch of lukewarm water (about 80 Fahrenheit) and put the top on the plastic tub and “soak” the snake for about 3 hours (changing the water every so often if needed).  The reason to do this in a plastic tub with only an inch or so of water is because it's the humidity that this creates that helps the skin loosen and come off easier for your snake.  Good luck.

  3. If your snake doesn't shed in one piece it is ok. but if it isn't shedding much at all you need to raise the humidity some. For a ball python the humidity should never fall below 60%.

If your snake shed skin in chunks it's normal and if you want it to shed a whole skin you can raise the humidity.

One way that works wonders is on the same day it's eyes clear give it warm bath with olive oil in the water, it is completely safe for the snake and it hydrates and loosens the skin making it easier for the snake to shed.

I hope this helps you. Good luck!

  4. Raise the Humidity level up.

  5. Raise the humidity in his cage.  Mist daily (don't get it soaking wet).  Humidity should be 60-70%--use a hygrometer to measure this.  You can try soaking him in warm water (shallow) for 15 minutes a day.  Put a dish towel on the bottom of the tub for him to rub against.

  6. He needs more moister, either soak him him warm water daily until he sheds or spray him with repti mist daily. Repti mist has all the nutirents he will need to shed. You could also get a mist machine, but he will only need it during his shed, otherwise they dont need alot of humidity.
