What do I do if my dog eats refried beans?

My naughty pit bull ran in the kitchen and got a hold of some refried beans. Is he going to get sick? What should I do?

  1. Be prepared for some gas and diarrhea.


  2. be prepared with lots and lots of paper towels, sanitizer, and air freshener.. it's going to get really stinky at your house tonight!

  3. OHHHH dont let him sleep in your bed tonight. And hes not gonna get sick just stinky, make sure you tell him hes the one whos stinkin up the room, he might not realise. :]

    you'll be reminded all night long why leaving food out (especially beans)

    is never a good idea

  5. He should be fine, but he may have diarrhea. If it persists, call the vet as you normally would.

  8. Oh, don't worry. It's not a problem at all. Just leave him alone. Dogs are not rational creatures; therefore, you cannot punish him. Beans are not toxic or poisonous, and I'm sure he liked them as a nice change from dog food. Don't give it another thought. If, in the slightest chance he does become ill, take him to the vet. Obviously. The doctor can give him some sort of pill that cleans out their stomachs and digestive tracks.

  11. no my pitbulls do that all the time hes not gonna get sick might he might get diarhea if its his first time but i doubt it  u dont need to do anything h**l be fine

  12. You put a clothes pin on your nose and let him outside all day tomorrow.  He's gonna have the runs.  No damage though unless he doesn't make it outside...lol

    No, but it will be alright, there is nothing you can do about it, accept take it to the vet, and that will just be a waste of time,money,and effort. Watch him closely, and if he starts to act strange, then be conserned. But until then, dont worry. Be prepared to go to take the dog outside, because his system is not used to that type of food.
