  1. Assume that he got fed up and left, or he is a sore loser?

  2. Assume they are going to the bathroom and will be back..If they don't come back than they had something very important to do than and had to leave or they are sore loosers ...Ask why they are leaving ..most will tell you .If you need them to finish the game and they do not return,,start over or put it away or find another person to play.

  3. Slap him.

  4. I suppose the other person has forfeited the game, so you win. (And I wouldn't play with that person again.)

  5. If he still isn't  back yet -go home, and come back in the mourning with a cut lunch.  If your playing The Game of Life, then you've just learnt an invaluable lesson about trusting others.  If it's chess your playing, just wait for his clock to run out and claim the point.  Don't have a clock?  You might be able to get one somewhere.  Check out Yahoo!Answers, post a question, and see what comes up.

It sounds like your playing a social game.  I personally would wait five/ten minutes (enough time for the person to, say, go to the toilet, or make a cup of tea), then go and see if the game is still on.  If you can't find your disappearing adversary, well, then I'm afraid it might be time to let go.

  6. don't do anything

  7. play with yourself

  8. It depends on the game.  It may be very upsetting over a game like Risk or Monopoly which take a while and are rewarding when eliminating a player:

-I suggest if another player was obviously going to take them out, give the sore loser's possessions to that player.

-If not, make the territories neutral again and give the money to the bank.

However a game like Scrabble might have harder options to choose from:

-Continue playing using the sore loser's words and put his/her unused letters back into the bag.

-Call it quits and give the sore loser the satisfaction he/she was aiming for by quiting the game.

A less conplex and less intense game like Seen It or Sorry is not something to get worked up over:

-Remove the sore loser's pieces and continue playing.  The sore loser's past moves have no effect on the present game.

Overall, just ignore the sore loser, and if you can, make fun of him/her as much as possible for being a "sore loser", a "quiter", and "stupid".  Make sure that player is shunned from your group for at least the rest of the day and will never make the mistake of quiting a game with you again.

  9. Well, you could wait for them to return if it's in a timely manner. Or you could have someone else play for them until they return; if they don't come back then "deal them out" and keep playing.

  10. play without them

  11. WIN!!!
