Question:

What do I do now that I have been scammed?

Okay, so I have been scammed by the Nigerian Fraud and they only got a package. Thankfully, I didn't send them the so-called refund of a double-charge. Well, they faked being PayPal and I reported the emails to PayPal and I also reported this to the Secret Service through Email and a USPS report. But what do I do now? Is there any way I can get money back for what the package was worth? I insured the package for $500 before I sent it, so is there anything I can do now to possibly get a refund?

  1. Assuming you sent it USPS you were right to report this to the mail fraud division. Your insurance covers loss or damage. The recipient would have to tell you the package never arrived or arrived damaged, in which case I think you could file a claim.
