What do I do now when restraining order was lifted?

So I went to court to lift the restraining order that this lady put on me. Note we all live in the same house. So we went to see the commissioner and he said he lifted the 100 yards. She didn't show up and I figure that she got scared because she knows she filed a false restraining order. But the commissioner wants to see us on thursday. But he said that the order was filed wrong but why do I have to go back to court Do I have to explain myself to him? I owned the house and there no way that they will grant the restraining order when I owned the house? Advice. Thanks

  1. Do what the commissioner says.

    Take it from there.

  2. write down a list of all your grievances, consult the questions you have posted here, as it will help you remember all of them. A point by point list will help you to organize your thoughts . . . be sure to include the statement that  . . . " if you are harrassing her then why would she insist on staying?"  I would not be overly concerned with his wanting to see you again on Thursday; in fact i would view this as an opportunity to speak with the commissioner and  present your case. It's really a blessing in disguise, because now he is sort of obligated to advise you of the way you should handle the situation that you're in. Ask him if it necessary and if there is any way you could see a court appointed lawyer, since you are under scrutiny from the restraining order. There was just a big news story on TV regarding the trend of people renting out their homes; they are aware that there is a lot of scammers out there.

For the record, when this is all over, i wanna know how it worked out. you can e mail me or invite me to answer your question/response.
