What do I do to get items out of the search history?

Several items were errors in entry in spelling or items I really didn't need to look into.

I am taking that your talking about items in your drop-down menu that you have typed in to search the net. to remove these items just click on the empty search window which will open the list up and place your cursor over the item you wish to remove and hit the delete button on your keyboard.
