Hi there! I was driving my BF's car and he has blackout tint on all the windows (except the windshield) and refuses to remove it; even after getting a few warnings and a fix it ticket! I am on on his insurance, but my name is nowhere on the title, registration, or loan paperwork. I go to court soon and I have no clue how to deal with this situation. This was in LA, if that makes any difference. Any thoughts/knowledge/opinions will be helpful!!!

  1. If you are in control of the car, you can be held responsible.

  2. well do you have a car?

was it getting fixed or something

just say it wasnt your car, and didnt have any other option besides using it

  3. Well if your bf owns the car but yet you were driving it makes you responsible for the car.. And they can charge you for it, cause you were the driver..
