  1. Well...I've never heard of a blue bump...

My cat had a bump under her arm, and it was a tumor. And I know a dog that had a tumor on her head, and she went into surgery and survived - and did quite well. Same probability rates for cats, there.

Perhaps he hit his head on something? Slammed it in a door? Fell off the bed?

Is the skin blue or is it the fur? If the fur is blue, it's artificial color - paint or food coloring or something else he got into. If the skin is blue, it may be a bruise.

I would ask your vet :)

  2. He definitely needs to see a vet about that. I wouldn't wait long to bring him in.

  3. I think you should take it to the vet right away

  4. get it to the vet immediately

  5. Yes, you should be worried, enough to take him to the vet.

  6. It could be a tumor. I would take her to the vet.

  7. Its most probably just a bruise ecause he hit his head on something hard.  Still, you can call this number : 703-361-8287

and ask what that bump is on your cats head.  This is just an emergency number that I have in the virginia area it's your choice if you want to call or not.  But it's most likely just a bruise but I recommend taking him to the vet because this could be something more dangerous.

  8. i have no idea either. Usually it says in a book that it's not a bump, it's a lump. You have to go to the vet.

  9. If it is an outdoor cat I would think that maybe it had been hit by something maybe a car clipped it and this is huge bruise and lump. Or it could be the beginnings of an abscess or tumor. Please take it to a vet now and get it checked out.

  10. It's probably just acne but you should take him to the vet.  Cats frequently get acne on their face because it's the most difficult part of their body for them to keep clean.  The vet will verify it's just acne and not something more serious like a spider bite.
