What do I do when my fish food is creating ants?

The ants are no where else just in the food. Is it safe for my to feed my fish this. I am using TetraMin tropical flakes.

  1. i wouldnt feed it to your fish you could be putting ants into your tank without realising, id put some ant killer down, make sure none goes near the tank, and dispose of the food.

    and buy fresh and keep it in a plastic box maybe witha lid to keep them out?

    They tirelesssly look for food 99% of their lives.

    Depending on the type of fish you have, they may actually be happy to get an ant as a treat. Try it and see.

  3. dont worry about feeding you fish the ants, you can buy ant eggs as treats. as for the ants eating the food, any food should be kept in an air tight container to retain freshness. change how you are keeping the food so the ants cannot get in and you wont have a problem.

  4. Get creative. Buy some ant food and see what that creates. LOL
