  1. Take them back to the pharmacist.  They know best what to do with them.  I doubt they'd be used for less fortunate people due to the risk that they may be contaminated.  Not that you would, but there are some horrible people who would.

  2. I was just reading an article published on the NYS DEC Website,

    http://www.dec.ny.gov/chemical/45083.htm...

This should answer all your questions.

  3. it is illegal to give medications prescribed for you to anyone else, thus donation is illegal.  You must flush them down the toilet dear.

  4. give them to a pharmacy to be disposed of properly,

  5. If they are expired you should throw them out.  If not, you could call the local Red Cross and they may give you some ideas,

  6. throw them out

  7. Unfortunately there are not any programs yet to "recycle" prescription meds, in the mean time please do not flush them or throw them away, please see the link below as to why, in the mean time contact your local waste management authority to inquire about disposal options. The Environmental Protection Agency also maintains a list of hazardous waste disposal resources, state by state, at www.epa.gov/epaoswer/osw/stateweb.htm.

  8. been though this, the drs don,t want them, the police don,t want them, and no you cannot give them to anyone, just flush them down the tolet,or put them in the trash, but don,t tell anyone.

  9. give them too me only the vicoden, xanax and klonapin though

  10. Burn them; only way for controlled drugs.
