I am a horrible gardener, and usually kill most of my plants. But at the beginning of the summer, I was given a gorgeous big hanging fuchsia basket..and amazingly it has thrived and grown!

So after the warm months are over, what do I do? I live in the Pacific NW, where it rarely freezes , but rains a ton.

  3. Your fucshia will die back over winter a bit and lose most of it's leave - but don't panic cos that's normal ! Keep it somewhere away from too much rain - it may rot if you don't - but do give it water occasionally even after the leave drop off. When they do and before spring , give it a little prune to tidy it up. Then in spring start liquid feeding and hang it back in pride of place !

Sounds really pretty - what a nice gift ! Good luck !
