When I was 16 years old(I am 38 right now) I had a bad ankle sprain and it swelled a lot, I didn't rest at all because I had to work. 10 years later I sprain the ankle again and 3 other time that year. ever since then I can't be walking a lot because I have a sharp pain in my ankle that leaves me in bed. I have gone to the doctor many times, but when they do the x rays nothing appears and they say I don't have anything. I don't really know what to do with it.

  1. Get yourself an Orthopedic doctor and Have an MRI done, just because the bone isnt broke doesnt mean you dont have torn cartilage or ligament. and possibley some physical therapy.

  2. I'm in a similar ankle situation. I had a really bad sprain. Did you get an MRI? On my xray, nothing showed up, but on my MRI, it showed that I had a few torn tendons. Mine still hurts and it's probably because I started physical therapy but didn't keep going with it. I suggest getting an MRI and then scheduling physical therapy sessions. Your doctor can refer you to a clinic that specializes in it.
