What do I do with my cell phone now that I dropped it in a cup of coffee?

Question

It went into about half a cup of coffee on the drive home, and has coffee under the screen.

I dried it off as well as I could when I found it, but I didn't get the battery out until it had begun to feel warm to the touch.

Is it fried?

Maybe blow dry it or somethin....idk...do you have insurance? If not, its fried. D:

No, it isn't fried coz it did not fall into heated oil....

I did that to my cell phone not long ago, and it was fried.  It never worked properly again, bad battery life, screen kept flickering on/off, etc.  It now sits on my desk as a paperweight: a reminder to be more careful! :P

Try to bury it in rice for about 12 hours.

you could try to get a new battery? if the screen is broken you could see if your insurance if you have any covers it!
