Question:

What do I do with my used SAT study guide?

Well, SATs are over and my scores are already in. But now I'm left with a very thick study guide. I don't want to just toss it in the trash. I'd much rather recycle it, but I'm not sure we have curb side pick up for paper. Anyone know where or how to recycle things like this?

  1. Our community has paper recycling bins at most schools and churches. It is actually a 2 win situation as it is a fund raiser for school or church or community center Plus you are saving trees and our planet from trash.

I would suggest you call your local government, ie: city hall and ask them where the nearest one is to you.

    Blessings and thank you.

  2. Why not become a member of Freecycle and pass it on to a student who might need it? to find a group in your area go to

http://www.freecycle.org/, then check your state for groups.  If one is not near you, why not start one.

The same goes for any current text books that you had to purchase.  There are many students who have limited income resources to buy mandatory books.  Passing on current text books to a student/students family who will find it a hard time buying them; a hand up.  This is an example of sharing the abundance in your life, with others who might not be as blessed as you are.

When we give a person an opportunity to get an education, we give them an opportunity to support themselves for the rest of their lives.

  3. I would see if your local high school or Adult learning center needs  it .Do you have  freecycle in your area? www.freecycle.org is the link. Maybe if you know of any high school students thru church or something would know of a student  that would be studing for it soon.Or maybe the local librairy.Just don't threw it away. There costly and some one really could use it. Maybe  your local college who would know of a student who is in need...Blondie
