What do I do with nothing???

Hi All,

Lately I've been going crazy (as if I not crazy all ready) because of a situation that I've been facing and dealing with: I have a bunch of ideas to make some videos, shorts, sketches, even short films, for airtime, and to go online. I have some experience, but I'm not in the industry. The main problem I have is that I haveno on to help me

I can get equipment and such, but I just need one or 2 people to help, but no one is interested. Friends and family are not and its frustrating! Basically, it comes down too...people don't want to help with such projects, only their OWN projects. Its almost as if I have to pay some one, but I'm not at that point yet. No money.

So I'm at a loss. I'll ask around, but insofar I'll try here. So I have to hand it to those peeps makes clips (especially good clips) online. Your advice will help. Thanks.

It's about finding friends with common interests and goals.  You just haven't found them yet.  Have patience and keep looking around.  But remember---people hate working for a boss for free. As with the old saying, "If you want a friend, be a friend", you might try helping someone ELSE with their film project, and maybe you'll find friends willing to help with yours.

Ever heard the story about the Hen who wanted to make dinner and went around the barn asking other animals to help her make dinner but they denied? Well, when supper time came around every animal wanted to eat but since they didn't help the Hen ate alone happy by herself.

The moral of that story is: People want to see what's in it for themself... maybe if you give them a little taste of what you can do they will be more enthusiastic about creating a project with you. It never fails.
