What do I dress up as for a fantasy themed party?

I am going to an fantasy themed 18th Birthday Party in a weeks time and have no idea what to dress up as! Any suggestions? Please help! I don't know the people who are going to this party so I want to look reasonably ok!

Collect a bunch of roadkill, drizzle them with lotion, and dive in.

faerie is the only thing i can think of.

You know, big wings, and you can do a lot with glittery make up, maybe stick on gems in an avalanche like pattern down one side. Lots of glitter and shimmery eyeshadow and a cute dress in maybe silver, purple, pink or blue.

Birthday party, and you don't know who's going? Do you know who's party it is? haha, the best thing would be to ask her. But, if you want to look reasonably okay and don't know what to expect, you shouldn't dress up completely outragous. For a fantasy theme.. try a fairy?  ..unless you're a guy? then.. hey, a prince. lol

ur a girl right? who's party is it? ask them how they are dressing! and what is expected

maybe you can wear a pretty dress, and look like a princess. i don't mean a baby-ish princess, i mean a somewhat "hot" princess. get a pretty dress, wear heels, & a tiara.

you might absolutely HATE my idea, but whatever, i tried!
