What do I have a virus?

Now when I use the computer, every once and a while things shut down automatically.Like when Im taking a look at my pictures or my dovuments then later, it closes.And when Im looking through the internet ant then it closes too.Could I have a virus?

so when your doing something your windows closes be it self it may be cause you are running to many prosess or porgram useing to much cpu go to start click run and type in msconfig and click the startup tab and uncheck programs you donèt need at start up if you are unsher of something google it . and do a free on line scan with housecall and nod32 and you can try kaspersky free on line scan. get a good anti virus like avg and a good antispyware like spyware doctor full version or starter edition from google pack

Not always. your computer just may be overheating. Try leaving the case open (and make sure the fan is working fine) and see if that makes a difference.
