What do I have to do in order to legally start a Roller Derby Team?

Last year a group of friends started a team in Alaska, unfortunately there aren't many other teams to learn from.

I just got back from Rollercon where I saw the bout between Alaska and Hawaii. Actually, I'm watching some of the footage of the bout right now.  Have you joined the WFTDA?  That is a great place to start. Their web page has links to the rule book and instructions on how to set up a track.

Go to the internet!! Visit other leagues web pages as well as My Space & Face book.  Email other leagues...they will give you the advice you need and no doubt make arrangements to either come to you or have you come to them.

Mark your calender and come to Rollercon in Las Vegas next year.  You will learn sooooo much and meet roller girls from all over the world.
