What do I have to do (paper work) to be allow to go Paris. French consulate? what else?

I am a legal resident in USA... but what are the steps I have to go thru to get the Visa? vaccinations? ... anything?

do you have a passort? first thing to consider and to own;

next? you must find the nearest embassy of France in the US in order to get all the consulates in the US, to get a visa... you, being a resident does not qualify you as an US citizen who in turn does not need a visa.

now, you may have to have reservations in France in order to have lodging , and may have to prove financial statements ...... as far as vaccinations? no, you are going to France, not to some third world country, do have a good trip.

You don't specify if you want to go for a short visit, take an extended vacation or live in France. If you only want to take a short vacation, all you need is your passport.

Getting a passport is a fairly easy task, however it does take time. A passport to France will cover you for a 90 day visit. Longer visits require a visa. The web site below has tons of information on traveling abroad. The 1st link is general info,  the 2nd link is specific to France.
