What do I have to expect in Junior High AND Senior High?

Question

I'm going straight to the point, what will do I have to expect? This year I'm going to 8th Grade, then next year, 10th Grade. I have one year to experience Middle School, then the next few years would be dedicated to High School. My problems are, I just moved from the Philippines, so I don't exactly have any friends. I never attended the normal type of school curriculum. I attended A.C.E. (Accelerated Christian Education.) I never ever experienced writing notes, taking pop quizzes, and whatever else you do in normal school. It's complicated to explain, so let's just leave it at that.

So what am I supposed to do? How can I make it easier to get ready for the first day and not look like a loser? I know I'm just rambling right now, but I just really need help now.

*And no, I don't find it hard to speak english.*

one thing is dont get in the way of the higher grades , higher grades really dont like it when the younger kids come in thinking they own the school

just take it easy, dont try to impress anyone and just have fun

be ready to maybe get more work than what you have had in the past, depending on some classes you might get alot of homework, some you might not get any

for like writing tests and stuff, alot of teachers can usually help you if you need help preparing for things or tutors( people good a certain subjects helping other students out)

You will be fine! Just be yourself and remember to do and turn in homework. i was thinking the same thing last year when i had my first public school experience. I was going into 9th grade and had never EVER been to a public school before (i was homeschooled). i was 30 minutes late to my first period class the first day because i did not know what it meant when the bell rang or how to much less get to the class. so as long as you are a people person, turn in homework, and know where ur classes are you should be fine.
