  1. that theyre like goldfish, and need a filter

  2. Treat like a normal goldfish but extra cautious, meaning, you must have non-sharp decors and gravel because it can easily be injured, especially the eyes. The most recommended are silk plants, smooth rocks and other smooth ornaments. Have a very thin layer of sand for substrate, why very thin, so that anerobic(no oxygen) areas will not develop deep beneath because these have bacteria that release very toxic substances into the water. Temperature: 18-25 so that means you won't need a heater because it is a coldwater fish. Tank size: a minimum of 29 gallons for 2 goldfish because take note that they will grow and goldfish needs lots of room and lots of water to dilute all the waste they produce. Filtration: Since they are very messy fish, get the best filter, preferably one strong or two medium power filters. Be sure to clean the filter media or replace periodically. Feeding: They eat a lot of food, but they like grazing and looking for food all day so feed them very tiny meals 3-5 times a day. Special goldfish food is available in most stores. Give an occasional(weekly) treat of bloodworms and adding blanched peas to its diet reduce the risk of swim bladder disease. Maintain it like any tank, maybe vacuuming the gravel every week is good to remove much of the produced waste. That's all I can think of about caring for goldfish, I hope you will love your new black moor for a long time.
