What do I need 2 do to get my driver's license?

I am 18 years old and I have not taken my test yet to get my driver's license. I live in Illinois and I was wondering what am I going to have to do to get my driver's license.

dunno about illinois but im assuming its the same everywhere

unless u took school drivers ed ur gonna have to take a five hour class somewhere..most driving schools offer it...just attend the class they will give u a certificate and u show it to the examiner when u schedule ur road test (u can do that on the DMV's website or call them--online i assume would be easier...sometimes the place u took ur five hour class might schedule it for u just ask them)

make sure before doing all this that u have ur permit

and get enough practice professional driving lessons are needed bc mostly all ppl cannot learn the technicalities of driving from a parent or relative or friend...u can only drive with ur permit if uve got someone 21 or older with a license on them

driving on ur road test isnt like driving in real life so u need a professional to teach u how ud have to drive on the road test

when u go to ur road test site u must take a person 21 or older with a license who will drive u there (u cannot be the one driving even if they are in the passenger seat and u absolutely cant go there by urself as that would be illegal) u will park behind a bunch of cars with ppl who have the test at the same time so wait in the passenger seat until the examiner comes to ur car...then the person u bring with u must come out and u must get into the drivers seat and wait till the examiner says to go....until they say that just fix ur seat and mirror.

If you don't have your learner's permit, get that first.  Schedule the test with the DMV, wait for the test day, drive down to the DMV test center, take the test, pass, show forms if ID, get your license, go home..../
