  1. I would recommend a wireless G router on one and a USB adapter on the other and you are good to go

  2. I'm assuming you have a wireless router. If so, then your in luck. You can go to any electronics store and by a Wireless G USB adapter. That way you can connect to the internet wireless.

  3. If you already have a router, all you need to do is buy 2 powerline adapters.  One plugs into the wall outlet near your router and then connects to your router with an ethernet cable.  The other powerline adapter plugs in near your computer with an ethernet cable connected the powerline adapter to the computer.  It uses your home's existing electrical wiring as network cables.  It works really well and is much more reliable than wireless.  Check this out: http://www.cnet.com/4520-7390_1-6274537-...

After you watch this video, check out the "What" tab.  It gives you product recommendation.  Be sure you already have some kind of router.

  4. If your router has an antenna on it, that means it is wireless.  You will need a wireless network card in each computer you want to have internet access on, they will have an antenna that will pick up the signal from the router.  This is just the hardware you require, the router will have to be configured for wireless access if it is not already.

As far as the number of computers slowing internet access, they will decrease the speed of your connection.  If you think of the router as a kitchen sink drain, the pipe only has so much room for stuff to flow through.  Pour a glass of water down it, it goes down pretty quick.  Pour 5 glasses of water down it at the same time, and it takes awhile for everything to get through the drain.
