Obviously you can by the more expensive version of each and they tend ot be of nicer quality and last longer. There are also lots of extras like gloves, show sheen, jump boots, polo wraps, show pads, half pads and loads of other stuff.

Email me (jazzme2305@yahoo.com or on my page) if you have any questions about brands and stuff. I LOVE looking up stuff on Dover and know a fair amount about english brands. What are you planning to do with the horse?

  6. Katie cover most of it, but she forgot one thing.

    Owning a horse......... Priceless!

  7. shouldn't you know what to buy for a horse

  8. LOTS AND LOTS  but seriously you should have everything already except for rugs, bridle and saddle. These you should fit to the horse after you buy him.

  9. You will need a saddle, bridle (most of which do not come with a bit), halter, lead rope, Saddle pad/blanket, assorted brushes and buckets, hoof pick, and a blanket. That's just a start. There is SOOOOO much more, but this will get you started. Look at your local tack stores and tack supply magazines to see what else you might like. When I got my first horse, all I had was a bridle, halter, lead rope and some brushes. I rode bareback for about 6 months before I bought my own saddle.
