What do I need if I'm traveling without my parents and only with my bf?

Me and my bf want to go on a vacation to New York and we live in houston. I'm 15 and he's 17. What do I need in order to fly over to New York with him? Like some sort of permission slip from my parents that is notified or a passport or id? Thank you

Well you're a minor and though some planes may not consider him one, he is too. Usually you need to be met by an adult on the other end if you aren't flying with one though. All airlines have different policies and rules, you need to check into them. I know that some airports consider any one aged 13 and over to be an adult, while others go all the way up to 18.
