What do I need in a PC?

I'm looking for a pc that is good for gaming, internet use, and possible using for a online education. I need something that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. What specs am I looking for and where is the best place to go to buy one online?

Well a must have for a pc is a huge hard drive so you can store vast amounts of p**n! lol or you can use that hard drive to install all your games. I currently have an Dell XPS notebook. Its pretty big, but its great for games and being used as an all purpose computer.
