What do I need to bring for camping?

I'm going camping with friends for a few days. It's my first time to go camping and I don't know what to bring. I want to make sure I have everything with me. Help please and thank you!

Depends. Are you car camping or will you be hiking into a camp site?

Don't take everything you think you'll need. Make yourself a list, then figure out how you can double up and be able to leave a lot of it at home. Leave the electronics behind and simplify things. You'll be surprised to learn how little one really needs to be safe and content. Camping is for new sights and experiences by leaving all the familiar at home.
