I am 14, 5' 9", and I weigh 175. I am pretty muscular because I do lots of sit-ups and lift weights and live on a farm. I'm still lots fatter than I would like to be, understand I'm not obsessed with being skinny, I wouldn't mind being chubby but right now I have excess fat on my arms, legs and belly (love handles too). I want to know what are some things I should cut out of my diet. I don't eat junk food hardly ever but I don't get a whole lot of exercise because right now we aren't doing wood and we have no animals at the moment....please I need some help...i want to lose 10-20 lbs.

  1. You can drop 10-20 pounds pretty fast on a lean meat and vegetable diet, especially if you cut out most of the carbs. However, it stops working for some people (like me) after about 1 month and if you start eating carbs again and don't exercise, you gain the weight back. Another really good diet is mostly vegetable and fruit with lots of dark leafy greens. The only other option is portion control but you may find you have to live on really small portions to loose weight that way and if you feel like your hungry all the time, you won't stick to it.

Here is how to know what diet is right for you:

If you carry most excess weight in the tummy and upper body, you need to cut carbs, especially refined carbs and simple sugars.

If your weight is more evenly distributed or in the hips and thighs, you need to cut fats, especially saturated fats (animal products).

Either way cut as much sugar and trans fats as possible.
