What do I need to complete....?

I'm purchasing a home theatre sound system, a Yamaha 600w 5.1 Ch. I have a 42" Panasonic HDTV, what additional products do I need. Also have a PS3 to hook up to it.

You might want an HD satellite or cable box, and you will need interconnecting cables. One for the sat/cable box to Yamaha and one for the Yamaha to the TV.

The best way to connect these items is HDMI. The second best is Component video/audio. HDMI is a much better choice. If the Yamaha model you are purchasing doesn't use it, consider upgrading to a higher model.

I use a PC with all of my TVs too. I think it's a must, but it's not reached the main-stream yet.

You need speakers!! I found this seller on ebay name is Harman Audio.  I got a $1000 speaker system for $200.  They sell refurbs from harman kardons factory. also sell JBL and infinity.  Comes with warranty and all just like new.  I looked reasearched for months and nobody else had a deal close to it.

You will also need cables.  DO NOT listen to people who tell you to buy expensive cables.  Unless you have a weird setup and need a really long hdmi cable or something.  ANY cable will do just fine.  Also you will need fiber optic or digital coax cables to hook the audio into your reciever from whatever components you have.  Most recievers don't process audio from hdmi so you still need the audio cables.
