Im about to be a Freshman in High School. I know I want to be a Neuro-Surgeon for a Career. So what classes should I take in High School and what should I do to get into a good Med School? The Cost?

  1. Well I really don't know what classes you could take in high school but you can join some great programs and ask to volunteer at your local hospital for community work. Maybe you can learn a few things about the medical field throughout these sources.

    The things you can do to get into a good medical school are just maintaining your grades between A's and B's (preferably all A's). You can also make sure you go to school everyday. I say this because in reality, people who give out scholarships, look at both your grades and attendance. If you have a bad attendance, well chances are, they will not be handing you that scholarship since they assume that you won't attend class everyday once you get in college. You get it?

    So overall, just maintain good grade and attendance.

    Here is a list of types of Financial Aids that you may need to attend a good college:

    Grants & Scholarships - are given as awards and do not require repayment.

    Loans - are borrowed from a lending institution. You are required to repay the loan amount and interest fees.

    And are you talking about the cost of the programs in high school or the the cost for medical school?
