Hi,

I am a 4th year (Integrated Masters) undergraduate currently studying Biomedical Engineering in a University of London. At the end of the degree I hope to achieve a 2:1 Meng Degree.

I am thinking of becoming a radiologist/oncologist. To do this, I think I will have to study Medicine first, and then specialise in radiology/oncology.

I would like to study in Canada as I would also like to work there in the future and I think its better to get the medical and specialisation degree from the country I hope to work in.

I would like to know:

- Is it possible for me to study there as a British citizen that would have completed an undergraduate degree?

- What are the entry requirements? I have emailed a few of the Universities and they mention "levels" but I don't know how this translates in the UK education system.

- How may years will this take me in full time study and how much of this is (paid) internship

Thank you for your help and time =)

  1. You should contact the admissions office at these schools and ask them about admissions requirements for UK nationals. The medical curriculum in Canada lasts 4 years. Once you graduate with your medical degree, you will be eligible for a medical internship. Check out this information from the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine - http://www.facmed.utoronto.ca/programs/m...

    Good luck!
