What do I need to do if my visa's photo had a small damage in it?

My passport had a damage in it due to cosmetic cream. Nothing had happen to the description mentioned in the VISA instead my photo had a little damage. I am far away from Washington D.C as per information I got from my frens to fixed the VISA. Currently I m in USA.

  1. If you are currently in the US, there is nothing you can do; visas are not issued in Washington DC any more.  When you return home you should go to the consulate that issued the visa, show it to them, and ask if you should keep it or replace it.  If you must replace it, you will have to go through the entire process, including paying the fee, again.


  2. Contact your embassy.It is the safest thing.You get deported on the flimest grounds these days. Atleast make it a point to show your passport to the relevant american  authority in the town you live at the present.
