Are there any specific tests I need to take? And also, do you happen to know anything about the University of Birmingham, Aberystwyth University, or Nottingham Trent University? I am not sure how difficult it would be for me to get into these universities, as it does not show me an average GPA and what not.

  1. The Reason they don't show what GPA you need for these university's is because we don't have GPAs in the uk. We leave school at 16 with GCSEs and then Mostly Go to college until 18 to do A levels. Applying for university's in the uk is done for Free through the Ucas System.

The Three universities you have stated are not `Red Brick university's' (the same kind of thing as the american ivy league) though they are still good. It wouldn't be that difficult for you probably just average. You should check the international admissions page on the university websites. Hope this helped.

  2. Contact the school. Many British schools get US applicants and they can probably tell you exactly what they're looking for in terms of GPA (this information may also be buried somewhere on their admissions website). You'll probably be required to submit letters of recommendation, an essay and transcripts, and have to fill out something on a website called UCAS (I think it's UCAS.) I think some British grad schools use the GRE, but you won't have to take the SAT.
