I love art and I have a degree in public relations. I was wondering what my next step should be now as I want to achieve this goal in my life.

  1. The easiest and, perhaps, most useful answer is to suggest the Master of Arts in Art History. This would be an important first step toward acquiring the necessary skills to be in an administrative or teaching position within an art gallery.

However, if you're looking for training to do artistic work in an art gallery (such as retouching and preservation), then the Master of Fine Arts (MFA) would be what you're looking for.

Finally, you may be able to get a job working in an art gallery with your current degree and work up toward the kind of position that interests you.

Ultimately, it depends upon your commitment to this goal, your interest in education, and your specific desire in relation to the art gallery.

  2. you could work cleaning the floor, in which case a cleaning qualification, or you could work in the ticket booth and try and work up the ranks......
