What do I need to do to be "in"?

Okay, I know this is going to seem tacky, but does anyone know any "rules of highschool"? like what not to do? I'm really tired of looking like a loser and I want to feel more confident around boys and stuff (even though I don't like boys! XP) Any tips are appreciated!

I know you don't want to hear from someone who went to high school before you were born, but the coolest people I remember from high school were the ones who didn't give a rat's *** whether they fit in or not.  The ones who were careful to be just like everyone else, I don't even remember their names or faces.

First off, the best way to gain respect is to befriend a senior, because no one messes with them. Second only go to the bathrooms DURING class and switch which class every day, if you go in between classes you'll run late because everyone goes in to check hair and makeup... Stay with YOUR kind of people, if people think you're a loser, think that right back at them. Nothing is worse than to be friends with someone one year and once you go to a new school or even grade they sorta blow you off because they're will "cooler people" now. Find common ground with guys, make sure they are innocent and smart, and not those bad boy types because they'll destroy your grades and possible your life(teenage pregnancy). If someone seems creepy, be sure to stay away, i made the mistake of not caring and thats how i got this creepy HIM worshiper that has the fake he he he laugh and is constantly rubbing one of his 3 goatee hairs as a stalker. If you want to feel confident make sure you're always checked up on hygiene (especially deodorant, no one wants to see a Greenland shaped sweat mark under your armpit) and make sure you feel good about yourself. Keep your grades up because that helps with a teacher relationship and some teachers are really cool and a lot of people like them so you'll get some points for that. Join clubs your comfortable with because people in clubs can be your best friends (some of the best people you can find are in DDR, yearbook, newspaper, or drama clubs) . ^^ welcome to high school and have fun.
