  2. Depending upon whether it is a public or private pre-school, the following, plus other requirements (as outlined by different places) such as a teaching certificate, experience, first-aid training, etc., must be met in most cases in Florida.

    Job Description: Lead Teacher

    Qualifications:

    National Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or one of the following formal Education requirements:

    B.A. or B.S. or advanced degree from an accredited college or university

    A.A. or A.S. degree in child development from an accredited college or university.

    A.A. or A.S. degree or higher from an accredited university with 6 hours college credit in early childhood education and/or child development.

    Qualifications for an assistant teacher are usually:

    CDAE or

    CDA or higher

    [*National Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential]

    But you gotta love working with kids !

  3. You need an early childhood development/education degree from college,  maybe some masters work.  You need to find a  place thats hiring.   then you need to pass the interview.   A lot of work with little childeren too, hope it works out.
