Take classes. Experience life. Find out who you are. Acting is about being real, so whatever qualities you possess are all you need.

Being a guy is a bonus because there is more work for males than females, still about 8-1 on film and tv. It's a bit more equal on the stage.

It doesn't matter if you are g*y or straight.

It's a great profession. A little advice? Please make sure you have some kind of day job to pay the bills so you are not desperate to get the job when in an audition. It makes you more relaxed and confident, and you want to keep auditions being fun too!

So find a good class and get going! See ya at the auditions!
