  1. First of all, you need to find an airline that is NOT GOING OUT OF BUSINESS and/or firing or laying off THOUSANDS of air crew.

In case you haven't been watching this past year... 7 AIRLINES HAVE GONE OUT OF BUSINESS... they are parking entire fleets of airplanes and over 30,000 FLIGHT CREW PERSONNEL have been given their papers.

Just WHERE do you plan to work as an Air Stewardess or Cabin Crew, even if you can find some place to get the training.  The airlines will, BY CONTRACT, have to call back some of the thousands of stewardess's and stewardesses and cabin crews they have already laid off or fired.

  2. Check out the airline web sites go into career sections

You need to be at least 5`2" tall, weight in proportion to height.

Be educated to GCSE standards. Knowledge of customer service is essential,in a front facing capacity.Be able to swim 25 yards and tread water for 1 minute unaided,

Be prepared to be available 365 days a year and willing to forgo public and family events and holidays,,,

Your choice of airline will establish wether you will fly long or short haul flights,

  3. There are college courses but they don't guarantee you anything.

If you apply to the airlines, they train you and pay you while you are training.

  4. I Think you need to know how to swim, beauty gromming, approachable and hos[italibity.

Humm, guess sometime ht also an criteria. Check it up with the airline you are interested. Good luck.
