I am currently in Sixth form in the UK studying German, French and Spanish for A-Level. I would like to continue all three to university level, but one can only study two subjects at university, so I have been looking into going abroad to study. I would like to study German and Spanish in Paris (as French is my strongest language), but all the information on the internet seems a bit confusing. What do I physically need to do in enrol at a university in France (language tests etc) and what do I need to do about visas, accommodation, enrolling etc?

  1. Not sure on the enrolling - but if you are a citizen of an EU country, you won't need a visa.

Another alternative would be to go to a university in the UK where you spend a year abroad as part of the course (this is common if you are doing a languages degree) and then spend that year in a French university. That will save you having to apply direct to the French university.
