What do I need to do to improve my pokemon diamond team?

Question

Well I'm trying to build a good team before facing off against the elite four. No legendaries please. I'm not sure which move sets I want either, but here is the team I currently have.

Luxray

Staraptor

Empoleon

Lucario

Roserade

Rapidash

Any suggestions/improvements?

For Luxray you bet to give him Proteins cause its attack can improve.

His moveset could be:

- Discharge

- Scary Face

- Crunch

- Charge

Staraptor, give him Protein too.

Moveset:

- Close Combat

- Aerial Ace

- Double Team

- Quick Attack

Empoleon, give him Calcium.

Moveset:

- Hydro Pump

- Drill Peck

- Mist

- Toxic (by TM) / Brine

Lucario, give him Protein and Calcium.

Moveset

- Extremespeed

- Dragon Pulse

- Aura Sphere

- Metal Sound

Roserade, give him Calcium.

Moveset

- Petal Dance

- Aromatherapy

- Toxic / Grass Whistle

- Giga Drain

Rapidash, give him Carbos.

Moveset

- Fire Blast / Flare Blitz

- Bounce

- Iron Tail (by TM)

- Agility
