I'm 6'1" and 235 lbs. and am serving in the US Marine Corps. I am physically fit but would like to play football after my contract is up. I can Bench Press 225 12 times, I know that is not enough for Pro Football. But would like to know what is a good routine to increase that number and increase overall strength. Also, my sprinting speed I personally believe leaves something to be desired so if you could add an answer about that it would be great. Thanks.

  1. push-ups push ups pushups, and if you want to get faster work out your calfs, constantly, lots of squats too, work out ur hips too to increase ur stride length

  2. You'd be a good TE or LB. If you're fast you could possibly be a WR if your fast. Try to just work on strength and positioning for Te's since they have to be good blockers. You could even be a QB if your good with accuracy and awareness..
