  1. U can get a conbverter and use antena or get digital cable

  2. To get free digital over the air broadcasts you will need a converter box and a TV antenna. (I'm assuming you don't have a newer TV that has a digital tuner built in to it)

How good of an antenna you need is greatly dependent on where you are located. This includes not only the distance to the nearest TV transmitters but also the construction of the building it self.

Older neighbors are a good source of information about what antennas work good where you are.

In North America analog and digital TV broadcasts use the same antennas, so an antenna that gets good analog reception will probably be good for digital as well. If you are within 10 miles of the transmitters, a $10 "rabbit ear" antenna will frequently be good enough.

  3. The digital TV only affects people still using antenna. If you have cable or satellite you wont have to worry about it. If your only going to be using antenna than you will need a converter box.

  4. You will have to get a digital converter box by 2009 or get a cable provider. I use direct tv which is already broadcasting on a digital signal so you don't need anything to convert they provide everything in the instillation .

  5. scratch ur butt
