  1. snowpants, jacket, long underwear, under armor, a fleece, a helmet, goggles, ski boots, skis, poles, and gloves and if its warm you dont need a fleece

  2. You want to wear three layers.

    Inner: long underwear.

Middle: for warmth, like fleece or wool.

Outer: wind and water proof jacket and pants.

Sometimes I'll double up on the middle layer depending on the weather.  Do NOT wear cotton because when it gets damp from snow or sweat it's heavy and cold and will make you miserable.  Brands don't matter at all, as long as it fits and isn't cotton it'll be great.

Gloves, hat, sunscreen, goggles are a good idea if you can get your hands on a pair.  Helmets aren't bad ideas either!

You might even be able to rent goggles and good pants at the ski shop where you're renting your skis.

    Have fun!

  3. Just Ski flexable shades(so they don't break!) you don't have to buy goggles

A waterproof snow suit ( with thinner snowpants, its easier to move)

You don't need a helmet, unless your going to do some jumps.

Wear some underarmour under your snow suit, its really flexible, and kinda warm.(also all the rage for sports gear)

Also, NEVER wear a scarf..it can get caught in a ski lift, or fly in your face while skiing, even tucking it into your coat isn't good enough!..It could still fly out.

And, when you attach your ski pass to your jacket, either attach it to your pocket zipper (or your pass holder, if you have a ski jacket) If your put it on your actual coat zipper, when you zip your coat up, it could fly in your face.

    How you Shred!

    Good Luck!! xo

  4. Here is list of things that you will need and info:

Helmet: a very important thing for safety

Jacket: you want a water proof jacket. It will leave you dryer at the end of the day

Goggles: goggles are a very important. If not worn you will have dry eyes from the wind and will have a headache from the sun often.

Underarmor/layers: Keeps you nice and toasty

Snowpants: They are VERY IMPORTANT, Make them waterproof or have a wet legs all day long

Boots: if you are gonna be a serious skiier by boots and get them custom fitted so they are comtorable look at http://www.bootfitters.com/

Skis: it is obvious, Skis don't matter as much a poles. Once again if you are gonna be a serious skier "demo" skis. Demo means to try out different new skis, to find the skis you like.

Poles: to find your right size turn the pole  upside down by the skirt and make 90 deggres angle with your arm downward like a "L" and if you don't bend that is your pole

Hand Warmers/Toe Warmers: These keep your feet and hands toasty. they help more than anything when you are cold.

    For Layers:

First Layer/Base. Long Underwear or Underarmor,

Mid: Something Thin and warm. You can double up if you chill easily.

Third: Something water proof (Not Jacket) Spyder Makes these well. They are called windstoppers or Fleeces.

Outer/Last: A jacket. WATER PROOF AND WIND PROOF!

That is is all good luck
