  1. I wish people would know an answer before posting a theorectical one.

If on 27 mhz, an appropriately coloured flag is hung from your transmitter aerial, if 35 mhz, an orange pennant with a black number in a white circle is hung. 2.4 ghz, nothing needed.

  2. the crystal you use in the remote will have a colour code on it, you then place cloth on the end of your remote to show other people what frequency your on, hope this helps

  3. I've seen people driving around with vinyl numbers on the back window of their vehicle, or else a small white placard with the call sign in black letters.

    .

  4. If you are at a club field/track, there will generally be a frequency control board where you will pick your frequency tag and put it on your antenna.  Only the person with the frequency tag is allowed to turn on their transmitter, and there is only one tag per frequency so others can't use the same frequency as long as they are obeying the rules.  Now with 2.4 Ghz systems becoming widespread, a lot of clubs are eliminating the need for frequency control tags since you will not interfere with other people using a 2.4 system.

Of course if you are at a field with no frequency control, it is just good manners to go up to anyone else you see flying/driving and check with them to make sure you are not on their frequency.

  5. A giraffe carrying a sign

  6. I've seen numbers hung on a penant from the transmitter showing the frequency.  Also at events they will usually have a frequency board so everyone can know who is using a frequency at any given time.

Unless there is a large number of R/Cers around this is usually not a major problem.
