You could buy a dressing table, or if the cost is prohibitive maybe two bedside cabinets with drawers and a length of worktop across the top with a 'knee-hole' space in the middle. Dressing table mirrors and stools can be bought reasonably priced on eBay, as can jewellery organisers etc. You can in some shops buy drawer organisers, some of which are trays which might serve as a jewellery organiser. A light also helps, either wall mounted or a lamp.
