I have applied for a ton of Human Resources' positions and haven't gotten a hit back just yet. I do not have any HR experience and I'm trying to get my foot in the door. Where do I start? What do I need to know about HR? Would someone please tell me what managers are looking for when hiring HR personnel?

if you have no HR experience then you dont stand much chance, i think you need to find a general business role (such as office junior etc) to gain 'work/business' experience and in the mean time look for HR courses to take as most employers look for experience in the role, not just qualifications
