  1. Frogs and toads have pretty different habitats. Why not go and buy a book on them from your local book or pet shop and decide which one most interests you?

Why not choose a native to your home? The White's tree frog is adorable and relatively easy to care for. http://allaboutfrogs.org/info/species/wh...

  3. yes, they need a small pool.  you could find one outside, but whenever i see little kids catching frogs i think how would i like that, it seems cruel, so get one from the pet store.  get a packman frog probably, they can run from i think 10 to 30 dollars about.  get a tank that is longer than it is tall because they don't jump high.  they will probably need a lamp but not a heat lamp like lizards do.  they like to eat daddylonglegs, and then food from the pet stores.  i'm sure you could find a breeder online that would get you one!

  4. Well...

You need some place to put it.  Any of these work:

The one above is the one I have for a few wild frogs that I kept a few days. I have never bought a pet frog, but there are billions at my house!!! I have one right now!

Very nice glass aquarium!!! Works well!

You will need some grass, leaves, mud, dirt, and a rock or two.

You can get these from outside. Just get globs of dirt for half of the bottom, and then globs of grass, and some leaves and you can get that a little bit moist.

On the other half put some nice water. You can make the other half a rock pool with water if you want, or put floating leaves in the water. It should be VERY shallow!!!

A little rock or some bark for hopping and climbing, but they will do that on the sides mainly.

They eat mealworms and crickets, that can be purchased at most pet stores. Don't get them from outside.

    Thats just about it!

    Good Luck!!!
