  1. You need to add a spacer between the lens and camera.


  2. Your camera maker probably sells a specific adapter to take your 1:2 to a 1:1 lens.  You will find that it costs about the same as the lens did in the first place.

    If you don't want to spend that kind of money, fhotoace has given you good information.

  3. Cheapest way is a close-up lens, which is like a filter and screws on the front, they are fairly cheap, but vary in quality. Go to your local camera shop and ask to try one out.

  4. There are (were) extension tubes available for some lenses, however many are not designed for use with auto-focus lenses.  Since there are no optics involved, the quality of the image is not going to be degraded in any way as what happens when adding diopters to the front of the lens.
